With reference to your memorandum of the 6th instant (No.181411/1915) transmitting correspondence relating to Motor Tyres detained at Hong Kong, I am directed by the Rubber and Tin Exports Committee to state, for the information of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, that the Committee are not aware of any reason why the tyres should not be allowed to proceed.
